    His stats are very impressive, just not against SEC competition. But this guy obviously knows what he's doing. It may take him a minute to adjust to the SEC, but I think it's a great hire if he can also recruit. I don't see anyone better that we had a legitimate shot at hiring.

    A good hire. I'm glad we got this settled quickly. The good thing is he also coaches linebackers which will take a load off Peveto so he can concentrate on special teams.

    Correct on the Big 10 competition, but I think he'll get better personnel here than he had at UW.

    Supposedly O wasn't interested in being DC.I would think he was probably in the loop and the discussion about the candidates being looked at. You never know how personalities will mesh, but I'd think he's good with the hire right now.
