Either you people just use the wrong words or you have problems with logic. JRussell will come in on every 3rd series to SPARK the offense? Any reasonable person would read that as Randall struggling with the offense and Russell having to come in and get us going offensively. Where is the logic in all of this people? Do you believe your own horsecrap reasoning? I really would like to know. Why put Randall in the game if you already know he is gonna struggle?
Interesting....do you not think that the QB carousel is shaking Randall's confidence a bit? Seems like he's had opportunities to show that he is a different QB than he was in '02 twice already....and has failed to do so.
Neither looked good against OSU, while both looked very very good against ASU. This week will tell us if we have a real QB ready for SEC play or not. Both have the physical tools, one is young and inexperienced and the other has yet to show he can stand tall under fire. Saturdays game will tell us a lot about how our season will play out and which QB or whether both or neither are ready to play big time football.
Hell, our 2nd stringer looked very very good against ULM.....don't read too much into a performance against a rent-a-win.
Read the entire post not just one sentence.:dis: :dis: :dis: :dis: I also said: I did not read anything into their performance against a rent-a-win:nope: :nope: :nope: :nope:
From what I've seen, he is the same QB that he was 2 years ago. What have you seen that makes you think he's not?
I am hoping the game doesnt become a quagmire and be played in torrential rain. I dont think that shows who the better team is !!! It just shows who played better in the rain that day. Same as Oregon State Lsu. I would hope the weather has cleared by Saturday and we can see who the better team is without having the weather play a major part. Geaux Tigers
Since it's almost a given that the field will be a mess come Saturday, I say that LSU should do exactly what Auburn will do on defense: stack the line, dare Jason Cambell to beat them with his arm. This could be one u-u-uuu-g-l-y game, given both teams strong running games, good defenses and sloppy field conditions. It could really become a special teams-intensive contest, and if the placekicking and punting that I saw at the Oregon St. game is an indication, LSU's gonna be at a distinct disadvantage there. How can you win field position battles if you can't punt?
