I’m not sure how much it would help, but don’t think it would hurt if Coach O goes and gets some former players to come in and speak with and counsel this young team. Even if it’s via zoom. I have to believe they’re absolutely defeated right now and I’m not too sure Coach O’s rah rah and/or Bo Pelini’s drill sergeant mentality is working with this group. There is a definite disconnect (that’s a larger issue to be addressed later) but if these kids are going to try and turn it around this year and play up to LSU standard (at least in terms of grit and effort) this coaching staff has to try something different to motivate. I’m at a loss. What the hell do I know.
I agree, I think for now the coaches have lost this team. Weather or not they can reel them back in is yet to be seen. The lack of effort on d was the obvious factor that they are no longer motivated by this staff. I thought early game sleep walking would correct itself after half time adjustments and foot-to-ass speeches, but we looked the same. Everyone has a bad half (Georgia) but good coaches will correct it and you at least see improvement. We did not.
Can you change the poll and add 3? I’m dead serious. Florida: L South Carolina: W Auburn: L Bama: L Arkansas: W A&M: L Ole Miss: L 3-7
If players arent giving the effort sit them on the bench. Why keep playing someone that doesnt care. That Jabril Cox is the worst LB LSU has put on the field i can ever remember. Since when are we taking secondary schools guys as sec players. I watched him just run himself out of the play and make no effort to try and recover. And why are we playing a deep safety when they are running and throwing only short passes. Just a total clusterF in every way. I dont think i saw a blitz all day
