The game could easily be won or lost on special teams. Last night ST wasn't great but it wasn't the clusterfuck it's been just about every game this season. Brossette stripping the ball was a step in the right direction. Gamble's kickoffs didn't reach the end zone often but stopping them inside the 20 for once was encouraging. Punting was better but not where it needs to be. Les should consider using more starters on special teams. Bama has been using Henry on punt coverage. Not saying I want to see Founette do the same but if they are ever to fix what's been plaguing special teams it needs to be done in the next 2 weeks. An SEC title and playoff berth could depend on it.
Changes every week for me, it seems. I was worried about A&M but I guess I should've listened to StaceyO cause after watching them a bit yesterday, they're on a skid. Ole Miss and Bama on the road, we'll win one, maybe both but not reasonable expectation.
I rarely get to watch anything other than LSU games. But the pieces I have seen of their D in the TAM, Ole. Miss, and Tenn game has certainly shown me that Bama is beatable at home. We are going to have to play well obviously.
Bama has actually looked their worst at home. I think LSU wins and LF7 along with Harris show everyone just how good they really are. I also think Neal has another huge game.
if bama wins, they will absolutely run the table, so the sec would be lost in just 1 game would rather have seen bama beat tennessee 51-0.....Saban will have his troops ready it's coming down to a team with the ball needing a touchdown to win, inside the opponent's 30 yard line LSU needs to win the turnover battle by at least 2, which is somewhat likely
'Anybody going to Tuscaloosa for the game. If you are looking for some companionship while you're there there is a new dating website where you might find your kissin' cousin
I agree. Unfortunately, they are arguably our 2 biggest rivals and the 2 games we as fans want to win most.
What's crazy is LSU could beat Alabama and still lose the SEC West with a loss to Ole Miss. Doesn't LSU clinch the West if wins come at Bama and Ole Miss? Actually I don't think so because one of Ole Miss' losses came to an eastern opponent. So if LSU were to beat Bama and Ole Miss, then somehow lose to Arkansas and A&M, and Bama LSU and Ole Miss all finish with 2 losses, Ole Miss would win the West. So in order to clinch the West with no help from anyone, LSU has to win the next 3 SEC games. Or is LSU winner in a 3 way tie with Ole Miss and Bama because they would have beaten them both in that scenario?
