You know, their trump defenses are as simple and clearcut as you can get: trump declassified everything with his mind so there's no Mar a Lago crime, and trump has a right to lie about an election so there's no January crime!

Because those are so obvious and simple you would think that Jack Smith is just a dumbass wasting everybody's time and money indicting him.... or that the judges would have just dismissed the charges the moment they were brought. I can just hear Mr. Smith and Judge Cannon saying to themselves "duh, why didn't I think of that?"

Have trump's lawyers even moved to have the trials dismissed?

The minute that trial dates are set those two should realize at last, for certain, that their legal defenses are just amateurish hackish garbage.... or the cases would have already been dismissed. But will they admit to their stupidity? Doubtful.
