Re: South Carolina vs Ole Miss He was trying. It's the players who are in the refs face. Garcia should have gotten that TO.
Mainly because they torched Texas Tech in the bowl game. From what I'm seeing, if Hardy and Scarborough were healthy, Garcia would be dead by now.
Re: South Carolina vs Ole Miss That's my point. He obviously didn't make it an urgent request in the huddle to make sure to call timeout as soon as you go down. Even he took a couple of seconds before he started yelling it. He's lost it.
Re: South Carolina vs Ole Miss Ole Miss doesn't really look all that sharp - I wonder if it's a flu hangover?
Re: South Carolina vs Ole Miss Yet to be seen how they play the rest of the 2nd half, but Ole Miss doesn't exactly look like world-beaters tonight. Wonder if Rebel fans are as critical of their teams' performance to start the season (they have lofty expectations heading into this year as well) as we have here??? Ole Miss didn't look all that great against Memphis to start the season (but again, "first games" are usually a crap shoot). They didn't exactly blow the doors off the barn to start the game against SLU either (althought they did pour it on late). Tonight they can only manage a FG against a USC defense that got shredded by UGA. My point: Not everyone clicks on all cylinders right out of the gate. I've seen Ole Miss 3 times this season and so far, I don't see how they are any different from us. At least not enough to say I'm particularly worried about them.
A National Championship, a SEC title, and a Heisman for Sneed aren't looking real good right now. If Ole Miss loses this one, a SEC West title will be tough as well. They don't look like a Top 10 team right now.
