Well, we will find out in several days. I think it is very probable because UM could easily have a 4 loss season and the bad taste of the 2 early losses.

As far as Spurrier....I think he would be great for QB development but since he likes to call the plays, I don't know if he would keep Crowton. I really don't want to lose Crowton or Pelini. Pelini is a possibly gone already, but I like what Crowton is doing. I have a feeling Spurrier and Crowton would butt heads. Spurrier still just irritates me to no end to watch on the sideline.

Don't forget being spotted eating at the local diner. Surely you haven't forgotten all the Bright Star threads?

I'm with PodKATT on this one. I've followed Orson for over a decade. He's got his sources.

And, FWIW, this isn't the only blog posting the rumors.

He probably wouldn't irritate you nearly as much if he wore a purple and gold visor. It's sort of how we feel about Tim Tebow and his obnoxious-ness.

Thats exactly what they will do if they are interested in Miles. Any top tier college program hiring a coach has to wait through bowl season. If they stick with current college coaches its likely the person they hire will still have a game to play.

"IF" they go after Miles, all the preliminary talk will be with his agent anyway. "IF" they get to the point of asking LSU for permission to speak to him its going to be a done deal.

You're probably right Stacey. I think what irritates me is that he just shows complete disgust with his QB's when they make a bad play. I just don't like that. If LSU gets Spurrier at the expense of losing Crowton as the OC, I don't know if I would go for that.

If Miles is offered no doubt he take's it. Would he really be their first choice?

Maybe we can get the players to throw the last 2 games and the SEC title game, then UM will not want Miles and we can keep him.

We have to think about the greater good people and keep the coach and throw away National Title hopes.:insane:

All the vibe has been with Miles going to UM since the 0-2 start by UM. I think he is their 1st choice. I wouldn't be mad at him at all.....I would be very disappointed and worried but I couldn't blame him. Now if he goes and handles it like Saban handles things, then I will be a little upset.
