Yes and he spoke out IMMEDIATELY on this matter without proper investigation but allowed protesting Iranians to be slaughtered on their own streets as the world watched in horror and we heard nothing from Obama for nearly a week.
I agree the arrest was stupid, but for the President to come out and say that is unforgivable. You can't do that. You might as well say the Armed Forces are littered with morons now. Get it over with. Mr. "Let me be on television every waking moment" Obama is taking things just a little bit too far. He let emotion cloud his judgement and that's scary. We thought that would be the case with Hillary as President, but this President is showing he can be that way too. It really is the age of socialism in this country and our ultimate downfall if it gets carried out by this administration.
Ask any cop. They are trained to disregard appearances until the situation has been brought under control. Little old ladies and old men with canes can shoot you dead.
Im the biggest supporter of cops, regardless of my situations with them in the past, but you cant deny some cops let their bias dictate situations, white, black, latino. It just happens.
If this were any one of you, you would have done the same thing, i don't know how many of you have ever had run in's with the police but they can be dicks. They are the ones who are supposed to keep a cool head, even when the other person does not. They didn't slap the cuffs on the guy until he started asking for a badge number and name, which is well within his rights. Should Obama have said what he said, no, he should have stayed out of it. To me this is very similar to what happened to Ryan Moates in Dallas. I have plenty of friends who are police officers, and they have all said that the officer in this case was probably one of those dicks who was picked on in high school.
True, but I don't think that's what happened here. There are "dicks" in every facet of life. Did you know this same cop gave mouth to mouth rescusitation to the Celtic's Reggie Lewis when he collapsed in Boston?
the officer should have said "im sorry, sir" after seeing his ID. they should have never cuffed him or arrested him. disorderly in his own house, what a joke. if he couldnt or wouldnt show ID thats different. or if he said "im gonna put a cap in your azz" thats different. just another cop with a chip on his shoulder. andy taylor would have never arrested him.:hihi: but barney fife would have. and neither were racist.
Age gracefully folks. When you grow old you are not entitled to be a dick. "Been there, done that, get off my porch" is a very poor attitude and does nothing for the benefit of the village.
