And you would be correct to find it hard to believe. I in fact do not have "nothing but contempt" for them. Did any of you lefties miss the part where I said IT IS NOT EASY? I know they have a struggle on their hands No check yourself Fred, this crackpipe is just picking a fight but I forgot, you are one of them too. So tell me, how is that "change" working out for ya?
I'm done with it as well. It's like trying to get toothpaste back into the tube. I may have to buy two plane tickets now.
Our government can't fix the race issues we have and I'm not suggesting that it should. I am simply addressing the idea that it isn't a big deal and if black folks growing up in impoverished areas don't make it, tough sht. That effects society, but disgruntled republocrats want to say it isn't their problem. The mindset of tough sht isn't helpful to anyone. If you're gonna bitch about it, why not do something to remedy the situation? But I don't disgree with most of what you said, though it is true that one can take a more active role in remedying societal ills than simply bitching about it. So you say; who knows. I wasn't only responding to you. Which is why you moved to be New York; they're just a little more progressive than us southerners. Because I challenge the typical republocrat line I'm a lefty. Anyone who disagrees with you is a lefty. I saw where you said it is not easy and that they have a struggle on their hands, but I've also seen that you're unwilling to cast yourself in the shoes of some black kid living in a bad part of town facing a boatload of challenges. Life isn't easy, but as a society we should take an active role in making it easier by helping each other out... OR not be surprised when a large number of kids without sufficient guidance fail. (That doesn't mean I am anti-tough love, just that I am not pro-doing nothing but bitchin.) Because someone disagrees they are picking a fight. America, land of STFU? I voted Obama, and he is basically succeeding in what I voted for more than McCain would have, IMO (foreign affairs). Both were bound to continue to sht on domestic policy. I voted Ron Paul first, but the Republocrats wanted more of the same.
"You are the typical liberal that thinks you are the lone beacon of light in the darkness and if the entire world were more like you it would be a perfect place." Naaahhhh,,,,I want NOONE to be like me, I just don't want ANYONE to be like you. I wish there was a grimy hole somewhere where your kind would crawl out of once in a while with a little notice, so that civilized people could avoid contact when you're outta your habitat. This is the last I'll say on the subject. First,,,,I never reacted or posted ANYTHING in reply to your posts. You posted in reply to me. I assume you were trying to upset me, but you failed. I got a few friends over, they read your posts, and according to them, it's agreed that noone agrees with you. Not that you care, I'm sure. Your delusions probobly prevent questioning your own thoughts, probobly tough to get alot of thought though the scull thickness. And by the way, I'm a registered Republican and my leanings are very conservative. But it was very poetic- the lone beacon line and all. If you feel it's liberal to love everyone and and end racism, that's your perogative. I don't feel that's liberal. Ok, that's all, you win, I quit. Pat yourself on the back, I won't respond again.
I guess I had tuned out for a while on this thread. However, I didnt realize that the police reported the 911 caller as saying two black men where breaking in a house. Turns out they lied and the 911 tapes show that. Where the police trying to cover their ass on that lie? I dont know seems, interesting to me. Also Glenn Beck called Obama a racist, should he be demonized in the media like Kanye West after his stupid comments?
lol, thats pretty funny. You cant answer the question, I see. And the police didnt stir the racist pot by saying 2 black guys were reported breaking in, when the caller didnt actually say that?
i wasnt joking. arent these the 2 who started the racial shiit in these 2 instances? beck just pointed out it was the president which it was.
Beck called him a flat out racist. Maybe you missed that part of it. I know you werent joking, but it seemed like one the way you cherrypicked the question. Also, I said the President shouldnt have gotten in the fray. However, what was racist about his comments?
