clearly not true. i kinda expect that from professors or african american studies. they are all stupid, as far as i can tell. in fact cornel west may be the single worst academic in america. nope, honestly i kinda thought it was lasalleave i was ignoring or both. i cant remember. i do feel dumb for replying to the guy i was trying to ignore. i meant to take away the gift of my responses. i will figure out how to use the ignore function i guess, then i will not have to remember. as far as racial profiling goes, i love it and am wildly in favor of it. and i particulalrly want uppity negroes that work at harvard in african studies to be harassed.
Agree 100%. They had a great tase episode that I saw yesterday. They showed it a few times on tv. It was some thug who had acted out in court before (spit on judge or something) and was about to go into attack mode at a different hearing when they tased him. Gates is acting like he's on a crusade or something. I don't think there is any lightening of the situation that will happen because Obama wants everyone to be friends. To Gates, it is very serious.
A little over a year ago, on a windy night, the door to our house from our garage opened and our alarm went off. It's a quiet alarm (which I feel defeats the purpose, but I digress.) In the middle of the night, the doorbell was ringing. It was the police, responding to the alarm. The police asked my husband to show his ID to prove he belonged in the house. He showed the ID, shook the officers' hands, thanked them for responding so quickly, and no one was arrested.
