The promotion has been stupid. These guys actually like each other. Conor promo with Nate and a few others was real shit.
Floyd has been hit plenty. Its a straw-man IMO. I think the real argument is that if the fight went full, there is basically no way Connor would have the points. Floyd doesnt have the power to put him away I dont think. I know the rounds are different in MMA, but Connor can take some shots from heavy hitters. Yea he got tierd vs Diaz, but that is a full on MMA fight. Way more energy is used. I think this fight will surprise many. Floyd is an old man already. He wont look anywhere near his prime IMO. Connor is a mad man. He was taking elbow shots in his last title fight and still talking shit. He is already in Floyd's head. Floyd just needs the cash.
I don't think he can knock Connor out either, Mayweather will do what he always does, land a few jabs per round and run away. He is hard to hit and it will be hard for Connor to land anything. BUT look the F out if he does because he does have the power to ring his bell. I just don't think he will get the chance. I hate Mayweather, cannot stand him but technically he is as good a boxer as there ever was if you cut it down to hit vs getting hit.
True, but he is over 40 and father time is a bitch when you slow down. Its been a few years since he fought. Plus, Connor already won. He has nothing to lose in this. Not a damn thing.
2 to 1 odds Mayweather wins a decision. Best play on the board. Of course Mayweather could tank it for the rematch. The first one is the one to rig so everyone involved gets 2 maybe 3 paydays.
I don't think he will tank but stranger things have happened in boxing. Fishy that the odds aren't higher
