Mayweather was retired, or so he said. He's got all the money he ever needs and this is probably his last fight and that's just for the greed factor. What has he got to lose? Especially if it's rigged and he says he was cheated and gets another mega dollar rematch. P.T. Barnum was right. So was the guy who said "a fool and his money are soon parted." Or to paraphrase the Beatles: Will you walk away from millions of pay per view fools and their money.
Mcgregor said in one of his post May/Mac Tour Q&As that he is getting into the fashion design business as a sort of conceptual creator. He spends $10K and more on his suits. He sees it as a business opportunity. He chided Mayweather for showing up in a jumpsuit and driving a 2012 Rolls Royce. It is an "old model". The dude spends it freely but he has created other avenues of making money. Look at the two promotions on the advertising. It is Mayweather Promotions and Mcgregor Sports and Entertainment. This guy was on govt assistance 5 years ago.
