    Mikethe Tiger69,
The American soldier still gives candy to kids, Iraqi kids and they are trying to help
that country along with civilian Americans and all they get in return is captured or
    killed.

You say the Arabs don't like pornography and I say that is why this has happened.
The soldiers were instructed to do this and now have become scape goats.

    Answer me 1 question....
What if some of these people in these pictures are the same ones from the organization that killed 3,000 people on 9/11?
That is a prison and there is no reason to think Iraqi POWS and some Al Quada members could be there temporarily or otherwise.

I do agree with some of your other points about war must be total, etc.
This wouldn't happened this way if I was president.
The war last year wouldn't have stopped until it was a total surrender from the other side.

I'm starting to wonder how long all this will last, I don't want to compare it to Vietnam
but it appears that we are holding back and trying to do things with 1 hand tied behind
    our back.
We aren't interrogating the average Iraqi, these people are POW's for some reason, maybe they killed Americans?
Not everybody is labeled POW's? Hello?

We are bad people so we should stop interrogating people because we may harm another countries feelings..........
this is what is happening as of today..

The funniest, most absolutely hilarious thing I keep thinking about through this whole endeavor is the actuality of the photos we've seen...

I mean...NO ONE whose EVER seen Animal House can say they've never seen anything like this. Considering the popularity of the film, there aren't many out there who have seen it that can say they're outraged by it.

Senator Byrd can carry on all he wants, but the man is a former Klansmen, and you can discount, discredit, and ignore every single word he says. Same for Teddy Kennedy, until he comes out and turns himself in for the alcohol related homicide of Mary Joe Kopeckney. As for Pelosi, I'd like for her to explain the communist websites linked to her own just before she was named the leader of the Democrats in Washington before she goes bitching about Rumsfeld putting American soldiers lives in danger.

Now that we've gotten that out of the way...Again, I'll say this...The sunsabitches in the prison from the evidence we've seen haven't been exposed to ANYTHING more than what a rush chairman and frat guys in charge of the pledges would put his new pledges through. That is an UNDENIABLE FACT.

Hell, Sigma Alpha Epsilon pledges had to drink themselves almost to death, and Ben Wynne actually DID drink himself to death during rush...I mean...the treatment these POW's are receiving are along the lines of fraternity pledgees on modern American college campuses AROUND THE NATION!

The images are fodder for the Islamic anti-zionist wing of the Arab world, but nothing more...Why are all of you out there so outraged? You've seen the same-or worse-in school and on cable...Save me the whining.

The answer to this is pure and simple - hatred for George W. Bush and the willingness to use anything possible to increase the chances of his demise. Absolute hatred, lack of class and conscience and the willingness to cling to any hope of destroying this president has these fools running through the streets.

Uhm…if you believe hating America is a relatively new phenomenon primarily due to Bush and his Republican administration, you simply haven’t been paying attention to reality, because reality is anti-Americanism has long been the most popular sport in Europe and throughout most of the Western world, long before Bush (or Clinton, for that matter) were ever elected to office.

Same goes for the Arab and Islamic worlds, only far worst. In the Arab world people are taught from cradle to grave to hate America, Israel, and the West. I mean put yourself in their rich dictator’s shoes, if you stole all their money, harshly oppressed them, and kept them poor, dumb, stupid, and blind, you’d brainwash them too and teach them to hate our Western freedoms, values, and lifestyles. I mean what better way to control them than to brainwash them into hating the very values they should all be aspiring for. I mean look at the discrepancy between lifestyles, if the Arabs ever found out the true score they’d all revolt. So, of course, America, Israel, and the West are constantly demonized in their state owned and controlled medias, lest they begin to focus on their own dictators.

Unfortunately, America is also to a large extent demonized throughout Europe too. I don’t like it, you don’t like it, but that’s the reality, and Bush or any other American doesn’t have anything to do with it. That’s just the way it is and there isn’t very much we can do about it.

Now regarding this Iraqi prisoner mistreatment scandal, it’s much ado about nothing. Reality is we are demonized throughout the Arab world whether we deserve it or not. If you don’t believe me, watch Al Jazeera or Al Arabiya for just one day, or read the transcripts from the Arab press at The Middle East Research Institute. Same in Europe, read LeMonde, no wonder the French hate us! In this country it’s political season, so, of course, the issue has been politicized, with the Democrats doing their best to hit Bush where it hurts the most, the outcome of the war or the lives of our American soldiers fighting in Iraq notwithstanding.

Regarding our future POWs being mistreated, that’s something CBS (the Communist Broadcasting System) should have weighed before they decided to irresponsibly broadcast the story, because this story could have just as effectively been reported without broadcasting those pictures. Where is it written in stone that the pictures had to be aired? It’s clear what CBS’s intention was by the manner in which they released this story, and they were obviously trying to hurt this President and his administration in an election year. The damage it done to the country or the lives of our American soldiers it now endangers again be damned.

Just like Dan Rather when the Mississippi Man was taken hostage. He made the comment, "What would drive American civilians to find work in a war zone such as Iraq? In today's economy-perhaps that's the only work they could find?"

Total shot, and totally classless. Since when has conjecture become a part of news reporting?

Its a funny thing, I live in Denver and we went for a drive around town for mothers day, went to a mall and ate at a restaurant.

I saw plenty of help wanted signs around.
If people want to find a job its very possible in this economy and has been.
Its not the jobs everyone might want but I've done jobs before I didn't want
to do but I did it to make ends meet.

I have a neighbor that hasn't worked since I met him, he supposedly got layed
    off at the Denver Post.
We moved into our condos, brand new building, at the same time and that was 2 and a half years ago.
I would say he hasn't tried all that hard to find work, he doesn't show much effort and he and his wife split up once over him not looking for work.

The sad thing is he is a big guy and has health problems, pretty young for all
of this in his mid 40's to be happening but he's gotten lazy.

We are now watching his health take another step backwards as he's gained
30 more pounds and is obeist.
Before he had trouble walking up stairs and now he has trouble walking.

He was going to try the atkins diet because it worked for us but he hasn't yet
    done it.

IMO, Life is what you make out of it and I don't think this guy will live to see
    his 52nd birthday.
Its too bad that some people are just lazy or just want everything handed to them.

I would say there has been jobs out there no matter how bad the economy supposedly was but people don't want to do them or they are just too lazy
and its a shame to watch this happen to this one individual!

I see. So that justifies what happened to those 4 Americans?

These POWs are going home ALIVE....TO THEIR FAMILIES. Unlike those Americans.

You ARE joking, right? PLEASE tell me you aren't really that ridiculous.

I swear man...sometimes I would REALLY like to know what it is you're
smoking, because I've got to get some of it.

You know, SabanFan, I've never found much use of the Ignore function on this site...Matter of fact, I never even used it for Red55, though I said I did...

    ;-), red...

But you seriously push the envelope with your endless dickering about Brady. I don't hold grudges from one part of the site to the other. I think that my issues with Brady have nothing to do with my mental faculties, nor my political leanings, and I feel the same way towards you.

Please, do yourself and me a favor...Don't make me put you on ignore. Try to steer clear of idiocy that pushes me towards that decision...We both know that the other is-if nothing else in your case-at least marginally intelligent. There's no need for me to have to do that, but then again, there is no need for your continual blathering and stupidity.
