Not an LKF: Smith is the most common last name in the US, shared by about 2.5 million Americans. LKF: no driver with the last name Smith has ever competed in the Indy 500.

The longest possible road trip on Earth is from Cape Town, South Africa to Magadan, Russia. Using the most direct roads available, it can be driven at 13,911 miles. You'd pass through 17 countries and 6 time zones.

On July 27, 1998, Tyrone Horne of the Arkansas Travelers (Texas League) became the first professional baseball player to hit for the "home run cycle"; a solo homer, 2-run homer, 3-run homer and grand slam in one game. I mention it because it was duplicated for the first time last night, August 10, 2022, by Chandler Redmond of the Springfield Cardinals (AA ball). Both cycles came from players in the St. Louis Cardinals organization. The home run cycle has never been accomplished in the majors.

Cards are always doing shit like this. I "think" it was Fenando Tatis but back ~94 maybe" he hit two grand slams in the same inning. I'm sure that has been done a time or two in the bigs but it was the first time I'd ever gotten to see it.
