Barbara Streisand is the only person to ever tie for a win in both the Oscars and the Grammys. In 1968 she was co-winner of the Oscar for Best Actress with Katherine Hepburn. On February 23, 1972 (this day in history!), she shared the Grammy for Song of the Year with Debbie Boone, who sang "You Light Up My Life." Streisand co-won for "Evergreen," the theme song from her movie, A Star Is Born. BTW, the song that finished third in the voting was "Hotel California."

I didn't get to vote. I would have gone with Hotel California.

Me too. You Light Up My Life must have piled up the hormonal junior high vote; that was a legendary slow dance song back in the day.

I remember the legendary slow dance song as Otis Redding's Try a Little Tenderness.

There were times when Saul was pretty close to living in a van down by the river.
