Donnie Dunagan served with distinction in the US Marines, doing 3 tours of duty in Nam, where he earned a Bronze Star and 3 Purple Hearts. He retired as a major after 20+ years, all while hiding his deep, dark, childhood secret. At age 6, he was the voice of Bambi.

This is not as impressive but Scott Innes, who was a Baton Rouge country music disc jockey at the time, was the voice of Scooby Doo in the movie.

I had an english professor who expoused the belief that when someone speaks on a topic that information is transmitted into the air and is picked up by others, which is where deja vu comes from. I think he smoked too many "jernts" in and after college.

Except in the title? The novel was "Gadsby", not to be confused with F.Scott Fitzgerald's "The Great Gadsby"
