This one sounds like a joke,, but I'm going to go with it. NASA spacesuits, which are custom made, give male astronauts the option of choosing "small, medium and large" for the sleeve that allows them to urinate in the suit. They had to rename the options "large, gigantic and humongous", because....

Disney introduced Toy Story-costumed characters at its theme parks shortly after the movie was released. Part of their role was to drop lifeless to the ground if a park guest yelled "Andy's coming!" But once word got out it was happening so often, Disney discontinued the practice for safety reasons.

Another Disney fact....Disney World in Orlando is governed by the Reedy Creek Improvement District, an autonomous taxing district. Other than paying property taxes and using state-approved elevator inspectors, Disney World functions as a completely independent community within the State of Florida.

Lopadotemachoselachogaleokranioleipsanodrimhypotrimmatosilphioparaomelitokatakechymenokichlepikossyphophattoperisteralektryonoptekephalliokigklopeleiolagoiosiraiobaphetraganopterygon is a fictional dish mentioned in Aristophanes' comedy Assemblywomen. It is a transliteration of the Ancient Greek word λοπαδοτεμαχοσελαχογαλεοκρανιολειψανοδριμυποτριμματοσιλφιοκαραβομελιτοκατακεχυμενοκιχλεπικοσσυφοφαττοπεριστεραλεκτρυονοπτοκεφαλλιοκιγκλοπελειολαγῳοσιραιοβαφητραγανοπτερύγων. Liddell & Scott (LSJ) translate this as "name of a dish compounded of all kinds of dainties, fish, flesh, fowl, and sauces."

The Greek word has 172 letters and 78 syllables. The transliteration has 182 Latin characters. It is the longest word ever to appear in literature according to Guinness World Records (1990).

Not so much a little known fact as a, here's another way of looking at it. It takes Pluto about 250 years to complete one orbit around the sun. So from the time it was discovered until the time it was demoted to dwarf planet, Pluto only completed about one third of a revolution.
