They had it on tap for the happy hour provided by the hotel I stayed in when I was in Lafayette earlier this week. I poured myself about an ounce or two just to see how it would taste. I wasn't impressed. Too fruity for me. The other choice was Coors light so I left and went to eat crawfish with an Abita Amber, the way it should be.
Beer should taste like beer. Not strawberries or lime or watermelon or whatever the fuck some fag craft beer snob tries to concoct.
Still have to try. I avoided Purple Haze for a long time because it seemed like it would be fruity. When I finally did try it, well what do you know, it isn't bad. Not my fave out of that group but I'll drink it. Point is never trust what it says on the label to keep you from trying it, you just might be surprised.
Big fan of the Turbo Dog My fave is the Amber The rest are the Andygator, the SOS (not sure if they still make it) I don't like IPA's but I did like the restoration that they put out, The Mardi Gras Bock is good and there was another one that I liked but can't recall the name. Never was a fan of the Jockamo
Well the female I was with talked me into it. I cut the next one with a regular draft and ended it there. And by ended it I mean I started drinking Heineken.
