60 inch LG plasma in the main room. Beautiful picture but the glare from the glass on a plasma is something you have to consider. 120 inch projection screen in the media/football watching/game room. Blue Ray and 1080 resolution brodcast is freaking awesome. but 720p....not so much.
They say that the LED rivals the plasma in image quality and you don't have the glare problem right? I have 3D projector and Blue Ray 3D is cool and everything but picture quality and screen size comes first. ESPN is shutting down their 3D channel. OTA 3D broadcasts aren't going over so well.
No wonder you still think that foot was out of bounds. What does all of your fun money go the the People's Republic of Alabama Football program?
Any woman who says it isn't important, is a liar. I always look at her man and giggle......because he can't afford a bigger TV of course
and that's where 1080p finally has it's intended affect, on a screen that big eventually 4K will be even more useful on a set that size
Ok, so for those that hook their computer up to their TV to stream something from the internet, what resolution are you getting on your TV? My Vizio does a great job with this, but my max resolution is 1152x900. Which I think is xGA (extended graphics array). It's 720p at a 16:10 ratio (vs 16:9 standard ratio). So what is determining the 1152x900? Is that my TV or my video card? FYI, the source is 720p video, which is 1280x720.
