Are you saying there is no limit on the woman's right here? That would give her greater rights than anyone ever had. It would be similar to saying someone could own a nuclear bomb because there are no limits on the right to bear arms. Both statements are patently ridiculous.

    NO right is unlimited MM!

How is that different from some guy in congress telling you what gun you can own?

Government can't effectively make the decision. The decisions are best left to the mother and father. The reason govt got involved is due to taxpayers money being used to find abortions. IMHO. Cut out taxpayers funding and give the decision back to the parents.

Bingo, no tax money should ever be involved in this matter, ever.

dont put words in my mouth, I said it should be up to the parties involved in the matter, not congressman X or Senator Y.

I am not putting words in your mouth. That is the consequence of your statement keeping society (congress, state legislatures etc) out of it. MM that same society has a say in every other right. Don't you realize that?

In fairness MM I agree each single individual decision should be made by the people involved. However society needs to put the right in context that fits its needs. Therefore there may be a time in a pregnancy where society puts limits on that right. I believe there is that time. The whole society needs to be a part of the general decision on the balance of the woman's rights versus the fetus/baby's rights. Remember there is no one BUT society to speak for the baby/fetus.
