Limit of flatties

    Started at dark and at 11 only had 3. Bout then the wind died and tide started good and they showed up stuck a limit by 1130. Big average too 16-23 inches. Better pic later. [​IMG]
    Some good sized white shrimp showing up too. Not enough to catch a mess just scattered but it's getting started. [​IMG]

    Dang, seems high. I didn't realize there were that many.

    I used to joke about that with ducks and say we should have some kind of tagging system like deer. That way we could take em out when they were there. I've seen times where 10 people standing on a levee got a limit of teal on opening day (of teal season) and the next day not a duck.

    That's in MS think the LA limit is 10 but don't know. Flounder are one of the most abundant species we have. When we used to shrimp there was always lots of flounder in the nets. Often more than even croakers.
