    Im for the second adm. I do believe they should ban automatic weapons or make it harder for people to get them. However, its probably too late for that, todays criminal and thug weapon of choice is the AK-47, hell thats an army assault rifile. Like I said earlier, if someone is coming through my back door with that. You better believe Im matching firepower for firepower and when the cops show up, I hope they dont say I used excessive force because of the 20 rounds I pumped into the guy.

    How about 3? The Soviet Union during the Cold War treated shot-down airmen properly. Syria treated our shot-down airmen by the convention in 1983. Iraq in 1991 treated some US prisoners harshly but did not subject them to systematic torture.

    That is not what I said. I said that our enemies would use this to justify what they do.

    why? seems to be the best example to compare to. that, and canada

    too simplistic a view. id imagine a healthy % of criminals were not criminals when they got their weapon.

    and arent a significant % of shootings from stolen weapons? im sure many of the stolen weapons were legally obtained

    so were the people that voted for (or elected the voters of) the earlier laws not allowed to vote for the later laws?

    i would feel better if they were stabbed or hit with a bat or beaten. thrown out of a window? only if it wasnt too far off the ground.:grin:

    Hillary is left of center if that is your definition of a liberal in a black and white world. But she is to the right side of the Democratic party and has huge moderate support.

    Some here have trouble perceiving the shades of gray.
