OK, name one. Obama has said over and over that this would be a long struggle. Show me one damn quote in the world where somebody thought that Obama was going to change things overnight. You just make things up and then you believe them! :insane: Try to explain this one for us. What in the world is a "manmade global warming job" and how does green energy spending eliminate them?
Fair enough, but if that's the case, why the urgency? If its universally accepted that nothing can be fixed overnight, why was there this totally artificial deadline, set by Obama, that said the plan just absolutely had to get passed by Friday? It had to get done so fast, no one had time to read what they were voting for!!(and weren't many of the Dems who voted for the package the same ones who, a few years ago, said they wished they hadn't voted for the Patriot Act without reading it?) It had to get done so fast, yet Obama had time to go home to Chicago for the weekend, and then let the bill ferment until Tuesday, when he finally got around to signing it. Finally, I'd like to know why no one in our fair and impartial mainstream media will ask the President this simple and reasonable question?
1) red55 - spokesman for the Democratic Party (although in denial) :hihi: When the left wingers want to replace oil drilling and refinement, plastic manufaturing, rubber, styrofoam, and many other products with "green" products, how does that create millions of jobs? I just don't buy it but there are plenty of sheep who will. If you create 10 million jobs and eliminate 10 million jobs, you have ZERO gains. I'm sure you can use your infamous political spin to make everything look rosy but eventually the moderates are going to see that this stimulus bill isn't worth the paper it's written on.
