I got your back on this one. Anyone who is upset with Alleva for calling out boo-ers . . . is a boo-er. And I got no use for 'em.
What if LSU fumbles or throws a pick and Tenn scores. The fans go crazy, cheering. How many people will think the fans are pulling for Tennessee? I was watching VERSUS a few nights ago. The "Daily Line" starts out with "We have a great show tonight. There will be more booing than at an LSU victory in baton rouge."
Wasn't upset with Alleva for calling them out, only pointing out it sounded like HE needed to "deal with it" after SF posted that about a poster/fan. That in turn led me to pin down big boy on something he posted about Alleva's responsibilities. Keep an eye on him though, he's not on his game lately.
Houma has the best MLK road in the world! Probably the only city in the country with a Hooters on MLK Jr road.
Booing is not cool. I understand the frustration but it's still not cool. I would love to go to a game. I have a perfect lil boy who happens to have cerebral palsy. I will not go to the game and he not be able to come with me. Instead of booing be happy that you are able to go. I won't be booing from my sofa Doesnt matter if I like Jefferson or not
no one is booing any of those things. they are booing the playcalling. option right, option left. i didn't hear anyone boo the final score or the defense. all booing came when the offense was on the field. BTW-I don't boo either even though my messages pretty much defend the booing.
It's not that he isn't right. It's that it's dumb from a PR perspective. It's not going to do a damn thing to stop the booing. What it will do however is give the major media players more fodder to run with. Just like they picked up on the story when Bertman asked everyone. "LSU AD Begs Fans Not to Boo". It's a meaningless excercise that does more harm to LSU from a PR angle than helps If Jefferson throws INT's or plays as poorly as he did last week, the boo birds will be back in full force and Alleva's letter won't do a damn thing to stop it.
