He's been out for the season for quite some time now. He's suppossed to be running in Feb. I think.

Luckily for us David Greene doesn't have that knee brace anymore which really affected him against all those teams we should have killed (Vandy, UAB, etc.)

Here's to hoping we don't have the dropped balls against you guys again and missed chip shot field goals.

Defense DOES win championships and offesne sells tickets BUT consider this with both Defense' being so close, the difference might just be coaching and offense. I think LSU has the edge in offense in the stats, that is IF they bring their "A" offense.
I think we definately have the play calling edge in Saban and Fisher.
It may work down to which offense makes the LEAST mistakes.
We can't afford any turnovers, while at the same time we need to REALLY push Greene to throw some balls to Webster and co.

You can throw out that home field stuff, We get as many tickets as you do and count on the TIGER faithful to show up. It's just another field. The only difference will be more fans IN THE Metro area of Atlanta. LSU has played in the G Dome before for achampionship game so rattling the home field advantage chain gets you Zilch.

David Greene being forced to wear a knee brace was the reason that they didn't blow teams away!

I have heard it all, now!

BTW-Jawja fans...Care to guess who put Greene in that brace?

    You may be correct...

However, The Dawgs and their fans are hungry too. The dome game is like a home game for us. Like last year against Arkansas... it was a mad house in the dome... Dawg fans going crazy and Ark couldn't hear the QB. LSU better bring it's fans or I think we will get the best of them this time. The Dawgs are healthier and fired up. May the best team win... this is what it's all about.

Wait a minute...You telling me that in 2001, with our starting quarterback and starting running back out with injuries and with Tennessee fans outnumbering us 3-1, we didn't deal with the noise then?

Do you guys REALLY not think at all before you post? I mean, come on...Do you remember ANYTHING?

We went in there with our BACKUP QUARTERBACK and won the game with him going 5-15 and running quarterback draws out of the shotgun. They NEVER stopped it. Our offensive line was timid compared to this one, and yet we put it ON a Tennessee defensvie line with Albert Haynseworth (1st round draft pick), Big John Henderson (1st round draft pick), and Wil Overstreet (current NFL Starter)...

WE SHUT THAT DEFENSIVE LINE DOWN...It's got WAY more chops than you do...

WE DEALT WITH THEIR CROWD BEFORE...It was at LEAST as loud as you guys will be...

WE WILL HAVE OUR STARTING QB AND RB...Which we didn't last time around...

Gimme a break...Is this the best Jawja has to offer in the form of fans on our forum?

Southlink02, Chipeace...Bring your big bad brothers back or something!

The Tennesse game was huge, I do not think Georgia will bring the same intensity to beat LSU that we did to beat Tennessee that game. Reading some post on the Dawgrun, and some of the Georgia posters here, it sounds like Georgia will beat just because it is hard to beat a team 2 times in one season. That is what I see on almost every post. Then they say this is a home game for UGA...bad news there Dawgs. LSU will have at least 25000 - 30000 fans minimum there, just wait. Finally, UGA fans say they are healthy and have "played down to their competition" and not to think LSU will beat them because Kentucky, Vandy, and Tech played them close....WHATEVER!!! That is the lamest excuse ever...if that is the case, LSU played down to Georgia this year, thus the 7 point victory.

I have changed my mind on the outcome of this game. I think LSU runs it up early, and wins by at least 2 TDs.

Mesquite...Wait...It's not that they played down to their competition...

The reason for them playing down to their competition was because David Green had to wear a knee brace...

Not that they can't produce a running game...

Not that they couldn't protect their quarterback...

Not that they made him look like Raggedy Anne when we got ahold to him...

Not that their amazing offense got SHUT THE HELL DOWN by us...

Some more ESPN apologist Jawja fans...

We need some dosages of Lithium to be passed out around here amongst the Jawja fanbase...

I think, hope, and pray we win.

But I've watched college sports alot to know.

I'm 1 of other people here that think its difficult to beat the same
    team twice in a season.

I heard Nick comment the other day that when he was at Cleveland, Pittsburgh beat them 3 times one year.

I like his thinking on this...........

    Let me say this:
If a team is dominate enough it is possible.
    for instance:
    Florida under Spurrier

I'm not saying we will or won't win.
I've just seen it to many times........

Us vs ND a few years back.

I also think if teams are quality, or quality programs
its hard to beat them every year much less in the same season
    unless for reasons stated above:

Us over Fla last year, them this year.
Aub over us, us this year
    and the same for Arkansas...............

With Nick and his thinking from the NFL that could break that mold, "praying"

and if LSU ever had a team to beat Georgia, its this one....

I believe we're undefeated in the Georgia dome.......

If we win Saturday i vote to start playing the Gators there
    from now on.......
    :)
