So if Nebraska leaves the Big X will be eligible to have a championship game and the Big XII will not?

From my understanding, that is correct. Which is why everyone says that when the first pin falls (Nebraska,) the **** will hit the fan. Once 1 team starts the moves there will be a ton of moves right after.

This whole dance could be stopped if Notre Dame would just join the Big10.

You have to have a minimum of 12 teams to have a conference championship.

I'm so eager for all this to happen, just so Notre Lame is left out in the cold, unable to compete with the superconferences in football (it's arguable they can't compete anyway) while at the same time finding themselves out of a basketball conference, assuming the Big East gets dismembered.

I'll probably have to eat those words later but it felt good to say. :grin:
