We need to get pressure, both on the corners and up the middle. Hopefully we can do that with our dline and keep the LB's/nickel backs in coverage except for an occasional blitz. I agree they should not be able to run on us even if Davis plays.
Wow. Just checked the game stats and arky yielded 381yds rushing to ATM. THREE-HUNDRED EIGHTY-ONE YARDS. One the ground. And oh yeah, they gave up 247yds passing. arky gone get hurt!
I am looking for Ware to grind and pound the ball down their throats gaining 5-8 yds per carry and just make that piggie D-line squeal with pain!! Then we throw in a burst of Ford with a dash of Hillard and Mcgee and maybe some Blue on the side(if he can go). Glaze with a nice Rub of Randle and a little OBJr and some Shephard pie. I say we are looking at at least 3 turnovers for the pork boys by our D and a big win at 42-17!!! In the Vandy game, there were at least passes by the Arky QB that should have been sure INTs but they were dropped by Vandy. That was the only Arky game I actually watched from start to finish. If the QB tosses a few balls like that, our guys aren't going to drop them.
Well, Vandy does have an exceptional number of picks on the year, especially for being Vandy. However, I watched the same game, and those were some bad passes. Moreover, Wilson has an awful habit of floating a lot of balls deep over the middle. They are usually overthrown or get tipped into no man's land. But our DBs will be there waiting, with open arms.
Arky is living in the past. There were some very interesting games with them in the past where we did not play even close to our potential. That was then, this is now. Piggies get smoked! WOW, I can't wait!
