Yes they should and holding their feet to the fire is important and every president including Obama has pushed for it. Threatening to pull troops, to pull out of NATO and sucking up to Putin go so far beyond what is reasonable. It’s destabilizing and dangerous

Maybe that’s because you’re stuck more on personalities and party than principles. You either ignore or can’t grasp that I try to hold everyone to the same standards. I don’t give a pass to someone because he has a R as his party affiliation. You also ignore the fact there hasn’t been a liberal position or democrat I’ve backed in any of these threads. To call me a liberal shows how ignorant you are...or how little you care for truth or accuracy. You confuse the fact that I don’t agree with much of what Trump does or stands for with what I do support.....traditional conservative values and positions.
If you hold everyone to the same standards then there isn't a person on this Earth of sufficient quality to vote for.
You assume too much by saying standards are not attainable. Obviously Obama and HRC didn’t meet your standards yet Trump is no better so why give him a pass? Standards must be held otherwise we get the crap we have across the board. Finally if you set standards and hold people accountable then instead of the bottom feeders we have we might get more people worthy of respect and the office. To say no one can live up to standards is admitting defeat.
I swear you live in a vacuum. You speak in absolutes. White or black. No in-between. What has Trump done that has damaged the US or your way of life? Please leave emotions out of it. I'll leave you with this one word. Humans.
