I do think Petrino would be a good hire. He does a good job in developing high scoring offenses. That could help to lure big time high school QB's to come to LSU. He has made a good name for himself in college football. I realize that some committments may change their mind now that Saban left, but with what the tigers have coming back next year and the way the schedule is set up, they can make another run at it next year. If they do make another serious run at it, that should bring the recruits back next year.
I don't know why but I remember WWL's coverage of LSU when DiNardo got that top recruiting class and signing day that year. :dis:
