The subject is about redshirts. I made an attempt at humor, however it was lame and I am ashamed.

Not wanting him to get hurt is stupid? Want him to fail just to show you up? Come on man, get real.

You have nothing to base your assesment that Ryan might be better than Flynn on outside of recruiting stars. Ryan is a true freshman. This is Flynn's 3rd year in the system. If JaMarcus goes in, I want the player the coaches feel gives us the best chance to succeed in the game - since Flynn is second string, I believe that would be he.

We can get Ryan ready in practice & let him have an extra year of eligibility so a few years down the line you don't have to whine that we only got to see him for a year because the coaches made a stupid decision in not redshirting him.

I want to see what this kid has as much as anybody, but he'll get his chance when he's ready. If he isn't the 2nd best QB right now, there's no reason to put him in mop up duty instead of Flynn.

I hope somebody calls in and asks Miles tonight on his radio show if there is any truth to the rumor that Ryan has moved into the 2nd string spot ahead of Flynn.

There is no such rumor, just Claire's opinion.

By asking we could clear this up pretty quick and get it out of the way.

Yes... It is my opinion that Perrilloux is the #2, but he is just trying to be redshirted... BUT... you never can tell! Lord knows I am wrong often! :hihi:

I have no basis for this... just my opinion...

That issue was resolved at MSU. Flynn played, RP did not.

IMO, the only shot RP would have this year is if Russell went down with an injury and Flynn couldn't get the job done.
