I hope Ryan doesn't play. Matt Flynn should have the opportunity to showcase what he can do, he deserves it. There is no reason why we should waste a redshirt under these circumstances. Don't take the chance, it isn't worth it , the NCAA won't do LSU any favors, we aren't USC!
It would be insane to play RP this late in the season unless JR gets injured. No way in hell the ncaa gives him a redshirt if he plays no matter how many hurricanes passed through early in the season. I saw the interview with Miles and another one earlier where he said the coaching staff and RP would make the decision to red shirt or not but that he and probably RP also thought it would be best to red shirt. As long as JR is able to play I would be very disappointed to see the staff waste a year of eligibility just so he can get mop up against poor teams late in the season. He would get a better challenge going against our #1's in practice that he would going up against the lean green.
The only upside to playing RP would be that it might make Flynn transfer now, as opposed to the end of the year, thus ending the constant debate about why that honkey is smarter than JR.

Ok, just checking. Figured the wife has been silencing you and bossing you around at home. So you've been coming here and doing the same to members of this forum. Which is not very polite you know. Ya know, in 100+ years of living I would think you would have learned that everyone has thouights and opinions they want to express.
I hadn't noticed. There's been an awful lot of negativity this week, especially considering the team's success to this point. I guess it makes me a little testy. I'll try to be a little kinder and gentler. Thanks for the heads up. :wink:
