Quoteth the Sabanater, Nevermore: The best way to disrespect somebody is to just walk away from them. But that is the show business part of what we have to deal with, and to me it's wrong. It's a bad example for young people to see and it's not the kind of character and attitude that we want our players to represent this organization in, our owner, the Miami Dolphins ... or the people on the team who all have to suffer because of that.”
I'll be the first to show him the door when he doesn't win the East at Bama. :thumb: In fact, my expectations are being severely let down this year and I'm ready for a new coach...we aren't even in a situation where we can compete for the East title.
Hell, I'll top it. If he doesn't win the East this season I'll agree with all of you that he's bad for Bama, he needs to be fired, and he'll go to Michigan.
Re: The official let's get back to bashing Saban thread Like someone else said, you'll find out. Even if Saban had a 20 year contract for $100 million from Bama, he'd still leave. You know why?......here's how it will go. 2 or 3 years down the road you guys will be winning right? But you'll play some close games against the likes of Ole Miss or UAB and Bama fans will be whining about why did Saban do this or why did Saban do that. He'll get mad that people are questioning him when he has worked so hard for you people etc etc. He'll get pissed that Bama fans are so ungrateful and by that time he'll know full well he is dealing with the craziest fan base in the world. He'll then put his agent Jimmy Sexton into full "coaching change mode" and he'll consider other jobs. He loves people courting him.......fawning over him. He has to have that every few years or else he's gone. And when somebody like Michigan fawns over him enough and gives him dough, he'll bolt. He loves the courting from schools........the teasing. But when he gets there and wins some for the fans, he hates hearing criticism and gets fed up and leaves. Mark it down. It's like a nympho but with coaching. The act of coaching and winning gives Saban no pleasure. It's the fawning and the adulation he craves. When he won't get it anymore, he starts looking for it from some other school. How has he not cheated on that wife of his I'll never know.
