In the same half of the same conference is where most have the problem. He will actually coach and recruit against us every year. For most who were born and will die Tigers that is a bitter pill to swallow. No one denies what he did for the program, but he is now clearly the enemy when he was once our leader. Sounds a lot like Benedict Arnold to me.

Unfortunately, you may never have the opportunity to enjoy Miles' recruits being coached by Miles. If UM loses 1 more, Miles won't be here next year.

You ever lose your wife to another man who then leaves that man for your brother? I'm sure you would have had no problems if Coach Fran went to coach Auburn after 2 years at A&M. It woulda just been another game, right?

I would just think there would be more respect for a Coach who brought you back to being relevant in college football. Hell if Saban stays for 4 years, wins us an NC keeps us off probation, and leaves i'll beg him to stay but if still wants to leave i'll help load up the moving van.

Not if he ends up at Auburn.

That's cool and all Mobile (lived there for a while -the tower- hung out at the garage) but the fact is that he used to coach for us and now he coaches for a rival team.

What he did while he was here doesn't matter. We want to beat Saban, and we want to beat Bama. How foolish would we be if we wanted Saban to win...and ruin our NC hopes??? Although I wouldn't doubt it if some Miles Haters are not secretly wanting that.

Sure you would. Cause your special. It's easy to say "I would do this....and I would do that" when your not the one that actually has to do anything. I hope he leaves your program and moves to Auburn. Then we'll see how "understanding" you are. Please.

I can say it because i can use history, most coaches after a certain age don't tend to move around. Of course there are some cases in which it happens, but unless Saban does something completely out of character i don't see him going anywhere anytime soon. What's he gonna do go back to his alma mater Kent State?
