Yes and the reason it is unpredictable is that a pitcher on any team can turn sour for 5 pitches before they can yank him out, and if you have Sticks at the plate ( like we have ) You're never out of it IF the score is close. :tigbas: ldskule: :tigbas: ldskule: :tigbas: ldskule: :tigbas:
So let me get this straight. After LSU beats the peacocks tomorrow, we must then beat the loser of the Miami vs. CSF game, and then beat the winner of the Miami vs. CSF game twice to get to the title series?
Optimistic spin.... LSU only has to win one more game than it would have had it gone un-defeated, 6 instead of 5...
I am pulling for Miami to lose so that we only need beat them once instead of twice. I think we match up better with CSF and can beat them twice.
At a glance, I'd tend to agree with you about this... CSF, this year, may be the lesser of two evils... However, both programs are perennial baseball powerhouses and both command a great deal of respect. CSF does not have the titles to show for it in recent years like miami does, but they are certainly formidable and in the thick of things at the CWS year in and year out. Anyways, I do agree with you but just feel its a huge task to beat either tea twice.
Lets just hope the team finds a coach by the start of the game tomorrow, otherwise we stand no chance!
