I have to agree somewhat with ChosnOne here.
I really hate to say it but as great as our defense was suppose to be, we were terrible the last 2 weeks not to mention the red zone defense has been pretty much last in the NCAA for some time now.

By the same token I do not want a Dale Brown type coaching LSU football although I wouldn't mind that on the hardwood.

None of us knows the true story here but the coaches always get the blame for this kind of thing.
People talk about injuries and everyone understands that but theres something wrong when you can't stop anyone in the red zone.
It is no coincidence that we lost to Kentucky and Arkansas in OT.
AtlantaBengal has to be smart enough to know, Houston we have a problem!

Our defense struggles vs running QB's. When we knocked VT's starter out of the game, we had trouble containing their run-oriented Freshman QB. Same thing in the MTSU game. Then there's Tebow (which, quite frankly, everyone has trouble containing). Schaffer was yet ANOTHER running QB that torched us...then tonight, with the wild hog offense and McFadden lining up at QB.

I dont think it was so much a matter of Nutt outcoaching Miles. More of a matter of LSUs coaching staff not making any adjustments. With Ark you know whats coming. Thats why as of late most teams were stopping McFadden with the exception of South Carolina. Stack the damn line, its elementary.

I think McFadden was having a hard time when receiver Monk and RB Jones were hurt or hurting and it made Arkansas a little more one dimensional. :eek:ldskule:

Recently yes, by his standards he hasnt done well. Against South Carolina he ran wild though. People can say what they want, but each week the D gets worse, thats on coaching. Some players are slacking as well.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. It is a very good thing fans are not in charge of the football program.

So, it's the coaching staff's fault that injuries have started to pile up and slow people down lately? If that's the case, USC needs to fire everyone from the AD down with the list of injuries they've had this year.

YOu can say that again! If fans were in charge, we'd be looking for a coach every year! :dis:

Amazing....Les Miles goes from cult hero for having some serious "stones" in 4th down conversions against teams like South Carolina and Florida and 99% of the fan base PRAYING he doesn't accept the Michigan job to now...where fans are breaking legs falling off the bandwagon by saying he's a horrible coach; done a horrible coaching job; gets out-coached and hence, should be fired. :dis:

    I don't get it ...
