Sounds a lot like Cholly Mac. You didn't meantion Coach Saban donated over one mil in scholarships for first time college students in their family. Now I ask you, is that not signs of a fine humanitarian?
Yeah, because Les hasn't recruited well in his time here...:insane: Besides, I don't recall anyone having implied that his being down there was to stop the leak. He was hired to run the football team, recruit, and make appearances when duty calls. Seems to me, that's exactly what he's doing. He was down there to survey the damage and lift peoples' spirits, even if just for a moment. Not to mention he does enjoy fishing trips in the gulf often, so he's just showing his support. Nobody expected him to fix anything, but I guarantee you people were much more happy to see him there than our all knowing President. :miles: Saban did some things for the community while he was here. Hell, the man probably could have run for office and been elected he was so well liked. You know the old saying and I'll paraphrase if not... One "Oh sh!t" will erase a million 'atta boy's... Just ask CLM.. some people already hate him and he hasn't even screwed anyone over.
He's a sorry excuse for a President, that's for sure. Dude speaks about what BP's going to be made to do THEN meets with them the day after. lmao He and Miles do have that in common, talking out the side of their necks.
 Made me laugh but actually if you look at the rosters many of his youngens comprised the starting team. :thumb:
