It's glaringly obvious out on the field.

He loves to run the ball.

I can only imagine in practice that we pay extreme attention to detail in our running game drills but half ass it when it comes to the passing game.

    It is what it is.

Maybe we should think about putting Ford or Ware as QB. I mean ... we really don't need a person who can pass the ball. .... not under CLM anyway.

This is going to dash LSU's chances ..... once again.

Get real. Les went out and signed a passing quarterback, hired a top quarterback coach, and LSU is throwing the ball this year.

Did you think we would just abandon the running game that leads the SEC and that has gotten us so much in the last couple of years?

I don't think anyone believes we'd abandon the running game, but we thought we'd see a more dynamic offense. Instead, we see the exact same, predicatable plays over and over again. Do you really think there's no problem with the offense?

But, hasn't the passing game been hampered by the injury issues with the O-line?? It's pretty hard for Mett to throw when he's either on his back or has someone cleaning his clock. If they can resolve that problem over the next couple of weeks, I can see their opening up the passing game over the last half of the season once Mett gets some more SEC experience.

Haven't we seen a more dynamic offense? It's not like we are going to become a west coast passing team, but we have shown more passing and more kinds of passes this season.

I didn't see a dynamic offense last night. I saw the same 5 plays being ran over and over again with marginal success

There was a thread about this before the season started and myself and a couple others warned to not get "overly excited" about things to come.

Sure we throwing more but its the same damn passes. LSU is still so predictable. I have no problem being a run first team but you need some diversity in there at some point. You have to stretch the field.

He does, when he runs off tackle instead of the guard
