1. I heard a Les Miles commercial on the radio and his entire family had speaking roles extolling their favorite Raising Canes item. Since Les's son Manny is the quarterback at University High as well as a pitcher on the baseball team and is pretty good at both sports he is a likely future college recruit at both.

Wouldn't participation in a promotion for a commercial product jeopardize his eligibility? Wouldn't Les be aware of this?
  2. The way I read the Compliance rules, immediate family and established family friends are exempted from many of the prohibited contact and activities. You can be sure Les ran this through the LSU compliance office, which is very good.
  3. Did anyone see the a&m player with the #cashoutking headband?
  4. Agreed. We have arguably the best compliance department in the nation.
  5. It appears A&M is exempt from a lot of NCAA rules this year.

  6. I seriously doubt Jr. received any compensation at all. Hence no violation.
