He's on par with our former coach's "A-ite" and "relative to".

I think he's sort of charming in the way he speaks. He engages in coachspeak, of course, but it's rather loveable that he gets tangled up in his words.

I wonder how many on this forum are polished public speakers. It's not as easy as it seems.

Tony is far more soft-spoken, actually. On camera and in person. One can barely hear him most of the time.

Whether Miles can speak to the fan base, the general public, or the media is irrelevant. What's not irrelevant is whether he can deliver the proper message, in the proper tone, in the proper words to his team.

I'm not sure this is one of his gifts.

That "brain-dead moron" is governor of a state. What have YOU accomplished that can match that?

Re: Sarah Palin School of Public Speaking

Prior to this season, his speaking to the team was supposedly one of his best traits as a coach. And I'll admit, there were times watching the team that they seemed like they'd run through a brick wall for the man.

The inspiring football to which we've become accustomed was not the result of a coach who cannot effectively communicate with or motivate his players.

I still think that we were not a hungry team this year, nor did we begin the year humble. Now, we are mightily humbled, and I'll be eager to see how we respond in our bowl game, and more importantly, next season.

if that's how the common people speak then consider me shakespeare. that's not how common people speak nor is it how they should speak and it's incredibly sad that people assume that the dumber your are the more "common" you are.

sorry for the politics, but i didn't start it. :thumb:

    OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH

i guess being governor of a state makes you smart. Even when you dont know africa is not a country and dont know that the vice president does not control the senate.
