What if the only answer is "we spent four weeks on a gameplan that was doomed to fail"? I know that's not satisfying to hear for closure purposes, but sometimes the most obvious answer is the best one. Assuming of course there's a reason that Miles is comfortable disclosing to the public, which is not often the case with him. Could be something else happening behind the scenes with Lee that made it unfeasible to rely on him in a big game. Too much at stake for Miles not to at least try it, unless he felt he had no choice. We may never know why, and I don't necessarily think we are entitled to an answer either.
It's a start. We need to know that Les understands the problem, acknowledges it, and has a plan for fixing it before the LSU nation will show the kind of confidence and support that he needs. I didn't say that we were entitled. I said that the lingering questions, suspicions, grumblings, and rumors will not go away until he addresses them.
This. If something bad happened behind closed doors I can easily see Miles concealing it and taking the wrap so there would be no ill will going towards Lee.
You're all blind if you think he can side step all the issues that are up in the air. We lost the #1 QB recruit in the nation and it was seen on a national scale. Don't tell me that we aren't feeling the black eye of this loss and a simple "they were just better than us on that day" bull **** ain't gonna work
