I forgot about him. I wonder what Etling is going to do. I wish he would get a shot.

And our coaches have deliberately placed him in a system that he is poorly equipped to run, negates one of his key attributes and practically sets him up for failure.

You know, it's an interesting premise, taking a dual threat guy and trying to get him to run a prostyle offense. But you have to make it a hybrid offense. If you are going to race a truck you have to modify it.

It's so infuriating that this wasn't done. Why use a dual threat QB if you aren't going to run him or run tempo?

And why not use the tight ends or Guice in the passing game? Where was that reverse that Guice ran against A&M in the Bama game? Why was the jet sweep the only wrinkle up until the A&M game?

Just a really shitty job by Miles and Cameron. No creativity, no adaptation, nothing to help Harris. I don't think Harris is a good QB, but to be fair, this staff did him zero favors.

Amazing what kind of rabbits you can pull out of your giant train conductor hat when you think your job is on the line.

I think our best option is to grab a coach like from WKU. That guy obviously knows what he's doing with QB's and the offense. It'll do more for his future if he comes in and resurrects a stagnant LSU O than if he stayed at WKU. He could get a HC job in 2-3 years if he is as good as people think, and our offense is oiled up and firing on all cylinders.

And if he's not an option there are a lot of small college coaches similar to him.

That sounds great to me too but we're not a best option offense and we don't have a best option HC. I'd love to see the WKU OC take over the LSU offense but I think the odds of something like that happening are extremely thin.

You have to hire him as hc first.

It's Jeff Brohm and he'd be great.
