They don't want to say they were wrong, so they're trying to spin it into everything was lined up to fire Les and bring in Jimbo, so they were all giving us the correct info. Then at the last second F King came in and screwed it all up. I'm of the opinion that some booster with an inflated sense of self-importance believed he and perhaps a few of his friends just had to get some money together and make a couple of phone calls and this would engineer a coaching change. Then this person and/or one of his friends decided to start anonymously giving information to idiots like Rabalais. Maybe they thought acting like it was a foregone conclusion would discourage the support for Les and perhaps even influence the players into playing poorly. I don't think there was a deal with Jimbo or anything close. Jimbo just wanted to make FSU nervous and had no intention of going to LSU. It doesn't make sense for him to do so.
"Alexander says he and Alleva are on the same page with respect to the decision that was made and that the university is looking forward." What words are you talking about?
"Oh you know, Alleva had a new coach all lined up, but I liked how we were only losing 7-6 at halftime, so I told him the deal is off and we're keeping Les. Now Alleva is afraid to do anything. It's great." If those words exist someone, please point them out.
