I must agree that someone making a 7 figure salary should know when to call a Time Out to make sure his team has a chance to tie the game in the final seconds. I like Les Miles and he is a good coach, but it is hard to accept him having less situational awareness than many fans sitting on the couch at home. He has a history of poor clock management at the end of games. I am not suggesting getting rid of Les Miles, but at the minimum we should get someone to help him in this area.

Never going to happen. Managing the game clock is at the core of coaching. Can't really justify paying a coach 3 million a year if he has to have a guy next to him doing the job he should be doing.

It would be like paying a paralegal to give the final arguments in a trial.

It's also embarrassing to be exposed as someone who can't manage a game clock on national TV... He'd still be giving the closing arguments, but someone would be whispering in his ear.

Think of Barack Obama giving a brilliant speech which he is reading off the teleprompter

My 42-17 Alabama score over LSU still stands. And is looking better by the minute.

Even if LSU would have beaten Ole Miss, that would have been my prediction.
