Fumbling is apparently the only sure-fire benching offense for Les. I think he could bench some offensive linemen who can't count to Hut Three, too. And Hawkins just got embarrassed out there at tackle. I thought we had depth on the O-line this year. But Stud plays his starters the whole game, no matter how bad they are playing. Benching a player that is off his game is a motivational too.
You going to pull every QB from a game who throws a pic? How many QB's would you go through during a game against a good defense on a bad day?
A pic? LOL How about 3 in the 1st half and 2 more that were dropped in the 2nd. Hell, how about WE RUN THE BALL INSTEAD? Gee
I get your frustration, and my patience with Miles is about as thin as it's ever been. But pulling Mett would have been a very big mistake. No other QB on the bench is more ready than Mett. It's do or die with Mett. I couldnt bare another situation like the one a couple of seasons ago.
Poor Les, he runs the ball, they want him to pass. He passes, they want him to run. He gives a generic after game talk, no good. He gives sound bites, no good.
All qbs will have terrible days. But mett actually recovered and brought us back. The defense blew this allowing 525 to a 2nd string 2nd rate team. Our d is terrible. Have been all year.
