Ive said that quite a few times. I love my Tigers too much. Thats the emotion talking. I just dont think Im gonna expect as much under Miles.
My very first statement in this thread was that I didn't care that we played like shit, and that wasn't going to be the basis of my complaint about Miles.
I made that decision after that colossal cluster fuck of a meltdown in the NCgame. LSU is successful because of the wealth of Louisiana talent and good recruiting. If you can recruit you can win 10 games at LSU. It's coaching that determine the final 4.
Guys, bitch all you want, but face reality. Miles isn't getting fired anytime soon. Not with 91 wins since 2005 and one NC. It would take a meltdown of biblical proportions for the BOS to cut him loose.
You guys have to realize that college football is a business, and having Les Miles be known as the Mad Hatter is way more profitable than giving LSU a slim chance of winning when the national title is realistically out of the question.
Les Miles did some stupid shit at the end of the game, but Mettenberger played like complete shit, we abandoned the run, when we could have pounded them all night, the defense couldn't stop a leaky faucet, and the o line wasn't pass protecting well against a bunch of walk ons. Complete team loss.
Right on. I made it to the point of complete apathy before the last season started. It's a dreary path indeed.
