Could he also have been trying to block some of the background noise so those on the other end could hear him better?

I would think that type of headset would pick up a lot of noise and having the earpiece instead of full coverage headsets would seem to me to make it harder for him to hear the coaches in the booth upstairs.

    Just my two cents.

Yep. Miles was also plugging his ear so that he could hear as well. Looked like the headset was uncomfortable as well. I think besides the hat being "too stiff", it was actaually too small for his head.

I read his lips even with his mouth covered! He was saying "Bo, are you sure we still need to be playing this zone nonsense". They're handing our asses to us!

if he wore a normal headset, he coudln't wear that hat so stiff, it crush it down some....

those things hurt my ear, maybe he was paying more attention to his ear hurting than how bad the D was.

I'll be glad when you disappear again. You only post to be negative. You are the most immature, rude, and pathetic poster of the year.

He needs to do something about that headset and the hat. He looks like a trucker. Why are all the other LSU coaches wearing normal headsets and he's wearing some CIA lookin spy gear? The NCAA needs those bad ass motorola headsets. Its funny when you still see some D-1 teams with those got awful Portophones. Those are hideous. With the big P on the side. They look like high school coaches.

Well that's what I thought at first. Then I reasoned out of it saying surely they didn't purchase the worst set of headphones for the head coach. And they must have tested them in a high noise enviroment.

If he thought that he had background noise in that stadium. Note to less go old school and welcome to Death Valley.
