Bro, LSU wouldnt have been put in a position to win that game without Miles. Please, tell me a coach that you would rather have on the sidelines besides Saban. Be careful what you wish for.
Same thing we see continuously. Redzone at a&m comes to mind. They ran when they should have passed and vice versa. Les' feel for the game is null and void. More reason to turn over the play calling and game management to someone with those skills. LSU would be much more dominant and be sitting atop the undefeated ranks if he would just see this. But this isn't going to happen so it is who we are. A talented yet unorganized team come gameday. Even when we play our very best it's difficult to overcome. But it doesn't have to be this way. That's why this loss hurts like a sonofabitch. And will for likely well after the bowl season. Les is great at preparing and motivating his team. God awful at in game decisions and often play calling. Or timeout utilization. He needs a little help and should see that. If only this revelation would take place the feeling around tiger nation would today, be as god intended.
Plain and simple, you have to play to win. When you play not to lose, you often lose and deserve to lose. What pisses me off most is LSU never sicks with whats working. We start to establish a run game, they start trying to be fancy with runs or passes. When the pass works they get conservative. It doesnt make sense.
Hey if wasn't for that BS pass interference call and TJ fumbling it, the score would have been 35-17!
You weren't here last year saying that after Bama outplayed LSU and lost last year. Face the facts, Bama got dominated last night. The LSU coaching staff had to work really hard to give it away.
This tragic loss is undoubtedly the fault of our dear leader. The entire team went out on that field and gave it their all. Rather than their tireless effort being matched with the presence of a competent coach, they were instead gifted with a hapless baboon trolling the sidelines of Tiger Stadium. For those of you who will inevitably toss out your pretentious responses, let me beat you to the punch by stating that the baboon was in fact not Nick Saban. We must all keep in mind that the barometer of Les Miles' success as the head coach at LSU will always be measured by the team's yearly record versus BAMA. All else essentially floats into the realm of irrelevance. LSU can handily take every other game, but if they lose to BAMA they are then relegated to the enviable position that is watching BAMA play in Atlanta for the SEC Title. Defeating BAMA is a necessity if we truly desire to be national championship contenders year in and year out. Others may continue their stout resentment of this fact, but the edge goes to BAMA as long as they have Nick and we have Miles. BAMA is not invincible and it speaks volumes of this team that they were able to go toe to toe with BAMA in spite of the idiotic coaching.
both of you newbie Bama fuckers can shove it up your ass. For one, I hate to break it to you but the offensive player is not allowed to hold onto a jersey to prevent a possible interception. It's in the rule book. Second, on that third and three fumble, we had already gotten to Yeldon and you would have been held to 3 unless Saban tried a fake field goal. So it would have been 17-17 ...
