Les Miles has to be the biggest idiot!

I think this is the game of the missed opportunities, none huge, but when they get added together they hurt. First half, with bad offensive decision, that personal foul that brought us out of FG range. The defense on both of Alabama's drives at end of game and end of half (the final one being the worse, because they already knew that if you give bama room they will take it). We should have never ended the first half 14-3. The second half was all great until the very final drive.

We know LSU can choke. If we didn't we would not win so many games by a close score as we do, and we would not have chocked completely last year at the NCG.

The reality is that we needed to be very very good to win this game. We have been the better team for one half, and in that half we have been the best LSU team we have seen all year, but that was not enough. I have good hopes for the rest of the season. It can lead us to have a strong core of players for next year.

 

Yes it was the culmination of a myriad of coaching gaffes that you can't afford to do in games of the centuries. But in spite of it all we still had them. That says a lot about our players and the coaches preparation of them during the 2 weeks. Hopefully the coaches learn from those mistakes and Copeland is benched next week.

 

Bench JC? Bold statement for a kid that tends to learn from his mistakes. He fucked up good but that ass chewing he took on the sidelines was legendary. Seemed to me he came back out the world beater we know him for, with sugar on top. Lesson learned IMO.

 

Learned? He does this every other game. Yes benched. Reid should have sat out the first qtr after his Kyle field nonsense as well.

 

I wanted Reid sat for a quarter also, or in the very least ran his ass off during the bye week. We don't need thuggery. I'm okay with Copeland sitting a quarter also. Even though he came back out and paid back what he gave up, he needs to know this isn't acceptable behavior at LSU.

 

He slaps-a-whoe, draws a flag, stalls a scoring drive every other game? Missed it I guess. Can't argue with Reid but since I was willing to bench Wing and you gave him a pass, I am willing to let it go.

 

I told Tirk earlier in the week that I'd rather we get blown out vs have those kids go and play their asses off only to have the coaching staff let them down. Sadly it came to fruition.

 

Performance gets a pass over idiocy. One is controllable.

Zackley my point. JC fucked up, HALF the team and a couple of golden girls got in his ass and he comes back making holes bigger than they was. Then he caught and ran the ball like he stole it. I think you need to give the brother a break.
