Oh, don't think I'm defending anyone. You want to argue that we got out-prepared, meaning outcoached? I'll add that to my remarks as well. I'm saying, the usual rants about clock management and the like don't fly today.
the WR's are probably in shock that a ball is being thrown at them. besides practice. Tolliver had the dropsies but look at how many times we actually tried to pass? ( other than necessity) Hell our FB throws better than our QB's... even if it was underthrown. Miles and Crowton are soooooooo predictable as to when they are going to pass they set themselves, the WR's and the QB's for failure.
No one on the O should get a pass, they sucked from one end to the other. I think the WR's are surprised when a pass actually hits them in the hands. QB....give Crowton and Miles another 10 years and maybe they will recruit and develop one, but I'm not holding my breath. The OL really had their first really bad game, but it was reeeeeally bad. Miles/Crowton had their typical lost/dazed/confused game plan and play calling.
I knew we would get to this point. "Well, we were expected to lose this game. We're expected to lose to Arky and Bama too. So we have nothing to complain about if we lose those games."
It's not the loss, AU is a good team at home. It's that the offensive coaching staff is still so clueless. Most coaches would kill to have the talent LSU has on the offensive side of the ball.
