    Would've stopped the clock for the team that had no timeouts, and it was a catch anyway. Had he done what you suggest, there would be a thread on here to the effect of: "Why would our idiot coach stop the clock for them on a catch inbounds?"

    Damned if you do, damned if you dont.

    I don't have a problem with that. The receiver slipped. What can you do? Now the play calls on 2nd and 3rd down in OT were atrocious.

    Besides that play, I noticed a couple of receivers and perhaps other players on both sides slip during the game. I thought it was strange since there hadn't been any recent rain, correct?

    Im pretty sure he got knocked out on that Kick Off return. He was tumbling.

    Not sure but I don't think there had been rain. May just be a coincidence. That field drains very well.

    I would have like to see a time out called just under the four minute mark on the third and four play.

    Radio said that they changed his cleats after two slips.

    First, it was a catch or at least a replay would have upheld the ruling. Next it would have been 13 seconds left @ the LSU 26 coming out of a timeout. Things could have played out differently. Good or bad.
